Watching Return of the Jedi and thinking about why EV-9D9 refers to that robot getting disintegrated as a protocol droid. He was clearly a medical droid, am I wrong? Did Astromech take certain task-oriented brains and throw them in any ol’ droid body or what?

Me and Jawn P of Top Choice Clique recorded a track that’ll be featured in the upcoming film “Scalpers,” a movie written, directed & starring Jay Giannone (The Departed, Gone Baby Gone).  I’ll give you more info on the premiere and release as I get it, but it will be dropping this month. Jay asked me what we were to be credited as for the song, and instead of using the lengthy “Esoteric and Jawn P of Top Choice Clique,” we shortened it to “The Moondogs.” We’re considering following through with an album or an ep under the same name. Top Choice Clique was one of my primary influences coming up as an emcee. Everybody who knows who I am BETTER know who they are…if you don’t, you heard Jawn P tear down Boston Garden Rap off my album Egoclapper. ..and you better get your hands on the Top Choice Clique anthology available on Brick Records. So yeah, the film is called “Scalpers” and our song is called “Scalpers.” I’ll let you hear it soon.
